Through the Isuzu Chair of Mechatronics at IMSAâ s Gqeberha manufacturing plant, students gain direct access to industry specialists, cutting-edge technology, and live production challenges. Since 2018, IMSA has invested R2.3m into the initiative, empowering 276 students with mentorship and hands-on projects, with plans to expand industry exposure to 400 Mechatronics students by 2030 to bolster the future of South African manufacturing.
