New tourism desk a wake-up call for metro to take action
The launch of the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamberâ s new tourism desk is a wake-up call for our metro. Our tourism industry took a beating thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic and we cannot afford for it to be stagnant. As chamber CEO Denise van Huyssteen pointed out, while the rest of our country has enjoyed a robust post-pandemic tourism recovery, the Bay is seriously lagging behind.
