Three Eastern Cape firms barred from securing state construction work
At least three Eastern Cape construction companies have been removed from the national register of contractors, barring them from securing state construction work, after being found to have misrepresented their registration credentials. Public works and infrastructure minister Dean Macpherson announced the removal of 13 companies on Tuesday, saying the latest enforcement action brought the total number of contractors removed from the register to 75 in just over two years.
